JAKARTA, March 25 (Xinhua) -- Food vendors of the Benhil food market in central Jakarta, Indonesia, are selling various takjils (breaking-of-the-fast food) for Ramadan to a frenetic crowd of customers.

There are all kinds of takjils that people can buy as a menu to break the fast, ranging from dumplings, grilled fish, mixed ice, to various fried foods.

During the Islamic holy month of Ramadan, which starts here from March 22 this year, Muslims practice fasting and refrain from eating, drinking, etc. from sunrise until sunset, and then they gather and feast at night.
