Israel provides no recognition for churches and mosques

The U.S. State Department says Israel is recognizing Jewish sites only as religious sites.
Christian and Muslim churches and mosques are not recognized by the Jewish state, and thus have no protection from future redevelopment by property developers.
The State Department raised the concern in its yearly human rights survey. It says the 1967 Protection of Holy Sites Law has been imposed on 137 Jewish sites only, meaning Christian and Muslim sites are "neglected, inaccessible, or threatened by property development."
"The Church of the Holy Sepulchre and other well-known sites have de facto protection as a result of their international importance; however, community mosques, churches, and shrines faced threats from developers and municipalities that Jewish sites did not face," the report says.
Pope Benedict prayed at the Church of the Holy Sepulchre when he visited the Holy Land in May last year.
The State Department survey states, "Christian pilgrimage sites around the Sea of Galilee faced regular threats of encroachment from government planners who wanted to use parts of the properties for recreational areas."
Major Protestant denominations that have been in the country for many years, such as the Anglicans, Assemblies of God, Baptists, and Lutherans, among others, are not recognized by Israel, the State Department report said.  Email this story to a friend

Once Again Childish Middle Easterners Are Calling Jews the Boogeyman
How ridiculous. We all know that Muslims have every time destroyed every Jewish and Christian site whenever they find one on their territory. Mecca and Medina were Jewish and Christian, but the Saudis have destroyed all evidence, even going so far as to destroy evidence of their own history. Israel will not destroy these sites. People trust them a lot more than the Arabs who don’t even believe that Jesus was crucified.

Since when Israel recognized Christian churches and Moslim mosques? They only believe in their religion. They consider the Christians and the Moslims as traitors and sometime they say they are made of animal skin. The US state department
should blame itself for creating a Jewish monster.

unlike the good muslems and cristians the would never remove or change a site that belongs to another religion the jorden arabs thought nothing of usind tomb stones to pave he roads or the muslens in iraq that would never but a bomb in someother sects mosque.or burn books not the mention people as as the good pope set and did nothing.or the art work and moneys that the us goverment took during world war II.the curches took all the land dand i think they should be tax on it .

Jesus does not need our protection
We need the living words of Jesus to drive out the Hate and fear.. They have already tried to crucify Jesus, something that had to happen SO HE COULD RISE FROM DEATH AND PROVE THE POWER OF LOVE IF LIFE.. He told us that His Kingdom is in Heaven and to give to Ceasar what is Ceasars.. So Let the Jews have their dirt and the Moslems the Heads that they gather.. Live with the Love of Jesus in your Heart and you TRULY LIVE LIFE.. HERE ON EARTH AND WHEN WE PASS THROUGH THE GATES OF death TO BE GREETED BY A LOVING FAMILY THAT JESUS IS GATHERING.. Let Him be Glorified Always...
The old testament is concealed in the new testament and the new testament is revealed in the old testament.. In Isaiah Jesus is revealed.. the best is to speak to Jehovah Elohim and He will reveal what isin He’s heart and the shedding of blood through Jesus... no need to slaughter the sheep... Jesus came to bring mankind back to Jehovah Elohim, without the shedding of blood it cannot be done.. Only Jehovah Elohim knows the coming of the end of the world,. Jesus said so to his disciples that even He don’t know whenthe end of age would come..Jesus was make the sacrifice - a type of Abraham’s son... and he had to be the sacrified one had to go with Jehovah’s purpose of mankind and with a willing heart....whne reading the scriptures Jesus was afraid but later Moses and Elijah appeared to Him and encouraged him to carry out the Father’s plan... God so longed in His heart to communicate again to His people so Jesus had to take the shedding of blood in order for God’s purpose to be fulfilled... to be continued again.. we the Christians love teh Jewish people and we always pray for your well being and God..
