Pakistan PM dismisses security chief over Mumbai statement
Azerbaijan News.Net Wednesday 7th January, 2009
The Prime Minister of Pakistan has sacked his National Security Advisor Mahmood Durrani.
The announcement from Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani's office came only hours after Durrani confirmed on Pakistani television that the lone surviving gunman from the attacks on Mumbai was a Pakistani national.
It was the first time a government official had confirmed the nationality of Mohammed Ajmal Kasab, who is in Indian custody.
An official statement from the prime minister’s office said Durrani was sacked because he issued 'irresponsible statements' on national security issues, without consultation. Email this story to a friend

The civil Government is a pet-dog to Pakistani Military and his ISI.
They must reject all their Satanic deeds in India and Afghanistan.
This is the ISI policy. If the servants of ISI not follow the orders,
they are sacked. Waiting for the Pakistani Rubber-stamp
Parliament and “their master`s voice” mr. Zardari Khan be sacked,
if not hanged like Zulfi.
