Sri Lankan gunmen put television station off-air

Grenade carrying gunmen have stormed a radio and television studio in Sri Lanka.

The Sri Lankan private broadcasting network, MBC, was entered by about 15 men on Tuesday.

The masked gunmen blew up the master control room with grenades before destroying other equipment, resulting in three TV stations and four radio channels going off the air.

It is understood no one was hurt during the attack.
