Robert Mugabe infuriates MDC by choosing vice-presidents

Zimbabwean President Robert Mugabe has sworn in two ZANU-PF officials as vice presidents.
While it was agreed in power-sharing talks that the vice presidential posts should be held by members of his party, the inaugurations came after Mr Mugabe's controversial decision to give the key ministries of defence, finance, information and foreign affairs to ZANU-PF officials.
The president's actions have provoked the opposition MDC which is now talking about abandoning any further talks with the Mugabe regime on forming a joint government.
MDC spokesperson Nelson Chamisa said: 'Whatever appointments or acts that do not address the woes of the country are meaningless.'
Former South African president Thabo Mbeki is back in Harare to try to salvage the power sharing deal he helped broker last month.

Mbeki is in Zimbabwe to finalise Mugabe’s hold on power. If you take the time to look back at the history of the past 8 years, you will find than Mbeki has helped Mugabe every step of the way. How come the media persist with the notion that Mbeki is trying to help the people of Zimbabwe. Mbeki is a con man and the world has fallen for it hook line and sinker. Zimbabwe is in the state it is today thanks to the assistance Mbeki has afforded mugabe and his thugs in zanupf.

world leaders have betrayed the people of zimbabwe by agreeing to believe that Mbeki is genuinely interested in the fate of zimbabweans and in allowing that most evil man and his hooligans of army chiefs to usurp power for 10 years. Tsvangirai has tried his best to spare the blood of the ordinary people but how long can he hold their patience? can those naive world leaders tell us?

Blaming Mbeki for the shortcomings of Zimbabwean Politicians MDC included is the epitome of the bigotry that has engulfed most of the world opinion makers CNN &BBC Included I think an rational human should give credit to Thabo for doing what Obasanjo,Cadaffi,Blair,Chissano & even Bush has failed to do on Zimbabwe
To me he is the best man for the Job
