PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia's Security Council Secretary Armen Grigoryan and Kazakhstan's Ambassador Bolat Imanbayev discussed bilateral cooperation and regional connectivity, including the unblocking of transport routes.
Armen Grigoryan and Bolat Imanbayev reviewed issues on the Armenia-Kazakhstan bilateral agenda, highlighting new opportunities and directions for expanding and deepening cooperation between the two countries.
During the meeting, the sides also addressed the process of normalizing Armenia-Azerbaijan relations, the unblocking of regional transport communications, and the economic opportunities that could emerge from the implementation of the "Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity" initiative.
Imanbayev positively assessed the recent dynamics in Armenia-Azerbaijan relations and welcomed mutual visits between civil societies.
Earlier, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, commenting on the railway issue, stated that in his view the solution would be for a third country that maintains warm relations with both Armenia and Russia to purchase from Russia the concession management rights to the railway. In addition to the United Arab Emirates and Qatar, he also mentioned Kazakhstan as a potential buyer.
