PanARMENIAN.Net - Head of the "I Have Honor" faction in Armenia's National Assembly, Hayk Mamijanyan, criticized the planned integration of Armenia and Azerbaijan's energy systems during a parliamentary session, calling it a "highly dangerous" decision, Sputnik Armenia reports.
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan had earlier stated that the two countries would integrate their energy networks and operate under equal terms for imports and exports.
"Maybe one day he'll suggest merging our armies too, claiming it's more cost-effective? Same logic. Do I need to explain the strategic importance of the energy system and how dangerous this is? Dear citizens, are you okay with giving your light switch to Azerbaijan?" Mamijanyan stated.
